Riverview Amusement Park, formerly at the corner of Belmont and Western, was once billed “The World’s Largest Amusement Park.” While the park closed in 1967, it is fondly looked back upon by so many people that grew up going there and riding The Bobs, the Silver Streak, and the Pair-o-Chutes, visiting the Aladdin’s Castle fun house, or “shooting” the Chutes.
